Nick Kochan is a leading financial journalist and author. He has written about Middle Eastern economics and political risk for many national and international publications including the Financial Times. Emerging market economies are of particular interest. He is author of the book ‘The Washing Machine’, a highly acclaimed analysis of money laundering and terrorist finance and has written for The Observer and The Sunday Times newspapers about financial crime and corporate governance issues. Kochan serves as a consultant to a number of companies, offering advice on political and security risk for many markets. He is also an accomplished conference speaker. Kochan was educated at The University of Cambridge and is based in London.

Leah Boundy has a background in management report publishing in London, writing and editing management reports on international finance. She has undertaken extensive research into finance and investment, particularly in the areas of money laundering and offshore tax havens. A graduate of the University of Exeter, Boundy has been working with Nick Kochan and his risk assessment consultancy since May 2005. She has contributed to both an authoritative directory of offshore centres for fund administrators and the book ‘The Washing Machine’.
