About the Author
Steve Sahara is Managing Director, Global Head of Hybrid Capital Structuring at Calyon, the Corporate and Investment Bank of the Crédit Agricole Group. Steve embarked on his investment banking career in 1991 at Merrill Lynch and advanced to senior roles managing the hybrid capital and preferred stock structuring efforts for leading firms such as Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers and ABN AMRO bank. Steve has contributed greatly to the continued growth and innovation of this dynamic and lucrative market segment which saw explosive growth among corporate issuers in 2005.
Annabel Daws-Chew in an integral part of the Hybrid Capital Structuring team at Calyon bringing over six years of experience in debt capital markets including credit analysis and debt origination for UK, German, and Benelux clients across corporate and financial sectors. Annabel gained a BSc honours degree in Financial Economics from Liverpool University.
