About the Author
PJ Di Giammarino, co-chaired the MiFID Joint Working Group IT Subject Group, which debated MiFID policy prior to Level 2 ratification. In this capacity he collaborated with many sell-side and buy-side firms, the European Commission, CESR, FSA, HM Treasury and their counterparts across Europe, as well as the IT and market data supplier communities.He is the founder and CEO of JWG-IT Group Limited, a Think-Tank which helps Financial Institutions and Suppliers deliver regulatory change better, cheaper, faster and with less risk.
PJ has served in a variety of operational roles, most recently as the Global IT Chief Operating Officer and the Global Head of IT Customer Services at Barclays Capital. Prior to this, he spent fourteen years in management consultancy with EDS / A.T. Kearney, Booz Allen and McKinsey, serving global companies outside the Financial Services industry.
